Barb Choit (b. 1977 Vancouver, Canada) received a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Canada, an MFA from California Institute of the Arts, and an MA in Curatorial Studies from Columbia University, USA. She has exhibited at venues such as Rawson Projects, Brooklyn; The Queens Museum of Art, Lisa Cooley, Rachel Uffner Gallery, Swiss Institute, New York; Redling Fine Art, China Art Objects, Los Angeles, USA; and Blanket Contemporary Art, Vancouver, Canada. Her work has been reviewed in publications such as The New York Times, Time Out New York, Artforum, Art In America, and Canadian Art. Choit lives and works in Vancouver, Canada and New York, USA.
